By using the difference in permittivity between oil and water and measuring the change in capacitance, the water content in the oil is detected.When water is mixed in oil, the water causes "rust and corrosion", and also causes deterioration of oil performance and properties, oxidation, and so on. This product enables these quality controls.

Applications

It can be used as an oil deterioration alarm or oil checker by measuring the water content in the oil. Since the dielectric constants of oil and water are significantly different, the capacitance is measured using the difference, and the water content in the oil is continuously measured by the change in the dielectric constant. It is also possible to install the sensor electrode in the middle of the piping.
